Using our PBSA experience to provide development strategies for BNU
The Development Studio were appointed to prepare a study to enhance a consented design at the University’s Hughenden Park Student Village.
We undertook a detailed review of the existing stock and the consented proposal before providing the developer and university with a series of delivery options where programme, budget, and bed number enhancement where the key objectives. We provided the university options for a 50% increase in capacity on this site alone, without expanding the site footprint. The proposal was also adapted to aligned with the University’s target to be Net Zero Carbon by 2030.
